Ugwuegbulam Chidiebere, fondly known as Engr. Chid, is a dynamic force at the intersection of technology, leadership, and human development. A Microsoft Certified IT Professional, C# Developer, IIM Certified Data Protection Officer, and Code.org certified Generative AI Prompt Specialist. With a Master’s in Information Technology and ongoing PhD in Management Information Systems, Engr.Chid brings over a decade of professional experience turning complex technologies into tools for empowerment and inclusion. As the Founder and CEO of CodeSpace Technology Ltd., Engr. Chid leads transformative initiatives like #100HrsOfCode and CampusCodeWeek, which have trained over 4,000 youth and women across Nigeria—fueling startup growth, digital literacy, and access to funding. In his role as Director of Ecosystem Development at Young Innovators of Nigeria (YIN), he connects vision to action—conducting tech skills gap analysis, facilitating strategic partnerships, and unlocking opportunities for underserved innovators. A two-time Tony Elumelu Foundation mentor, he has guided entrepreneurs from Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania, helping them secure the support they need to succeed. As the Zonal Coordinator: SouthEast zone for Nigeria Computer Society and Council member, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria, where he is building a movement for digital transformation in the States in Southeast zone, having attracted and hosted the National Ai-Summit, in 2025.
